Othick UK have more than 35 years of roofing experience and are full Contractor Members of the
The British Structural Waterproofing Association
and the
Confederation of Roofing Contractors.
Although flat roofs are generally to be found on buildings high above ground, they are also located on
partially underground structures, such as
basements and garages built into hillsides.
Othicks use E.P.D.M. (a proven synthetic material) for all our flat roofs including domestic roofs such as garages, extensions,
dormers and bay windows in addition to roofing on large, public and corporate buildings.
The high quality material we use carries a 20 year manufacturer's guarantee and has a far greater life expectancy than
other materials like green felt. Quality E.P.D.M. also allows for the natural movement and expansion in roofs caused by temperature changes,
such as hot summers' days, unlike fibreglass which may crack.
All our operatives are fully qualified to fit E.P.D.M, and have been on manufacturers' specialist training courses.
We also use these materials to form the waterproof and rootproof barriers in our
green and living roofs.
