Basements are green!
Basements and cellars can be very energy efficient, needing less heat to keep warm in winter, stay cooler in summer, and generally they need less insulation than similarly sized rooms above ground. They can also provide good sound insulation, making them ideal media rooms, gyms etc.

Othicks are full Contractor Members of the British Structural Waterproofing Association with Tony Othick, a fully Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW), the de facto qualification for waterproofing underground structures. Tony has been a specialist contractor for over 35 years and he specialises in finding useful solutions to difficult problems.
